Packaging Operator I - Fresenius Medical Care : Job Details

Job Summary The FreeFlex Bag Packaging Operators I are responsible for the Inspection process, cleaning, loading all the commodities, startup activities, and the normal operation of the batch. Additionally, they may be assigned tasks related to the general upkeep of the area that include reclaim and reject activities with the freeflex bags. All these activities are governed by strict procedures and regulations and require a high degree of training, as well as working under close supervision from the Production Supervisor. Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT

Inspection, cleaning, loading all the commodities, startup activities, and the normal operation of the batch. Performs and documents line clearances before and after the production of each batch. Operate and perform minor troubleshooting of the Inspection Machine (IM) and the Packaging Equipment. Ability to operate advanced Human Machine Interface applications. Documenting work accurately and in a timely manner in the batch record and/or logbooks. Adheres to SOP's, cGMP's, and Safety Requirements. Performs shadow training of Packaging Operators II and III. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Perform peer to peer batch record documentation review throughout the shift to ensure documentation is accurate and in alignment to the Good Documentation Practice standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Mechanical aptitude required regarding automated equipment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a regulated industry.
• Must be able to communicate in a very efficient and clear manner.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds with assistance.
• Must work overtime as necessary to support production (weekday and weekends).
• Packaging Operators I must complete all required training, and follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, Batch Records, and Protocols, and must be familiar with current Good Manufacturing Practices
