Packaging Operator (Full Time, Union) - Tillamook Creamery : Job Details

The Package Operator works at the last stages of the cheese manufacturing line to pack finished products label and aggregate them for storage or shipment to distribution outlets. Heres a day in the life:Perform the packaging operation in accordance with product packaging specification, sorts products for packaging and filling machine operation, monitors production order fill rate and packaging line efficiencies, replenish packaging materials as needed, inspect in-process packaging to ensure consistent quality and remove defective products and packaging material in the process, segregate finished packaged items from machine that conform to specification and separate rejected items, conduct inventory court on finished and rejected packaged items, monitor packaging and filling operations to ensure quality and conformity of packaged products in accordance with standards.
