Packaging Operator - 3rd Shift $24.75/hr - Adecco : Job Details

Position Overview We are seeking a Packaging Operator to join our team on 3rd Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12.5-hour shifts, 2/2/3 rotation). This role is responsible for operating fully automated packaging lines and ensuring products meet quality, safety, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed automated packaging lines (up to 450 tubes per minute).
• Handle packaging materials (cartons, labels, pallets, etc.) and finished goods.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• Perform routine autonomous maintenance and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Conduct inventory checks of packaging materials and products.
• Complete transactions in SAP to manage materials.
• Perform frequent quality checks and accurately document results.
• Record batch activity in computerized systems.
• Comply with all safety, GMP, and procedural requirements.
• Identify process improvements and opportunities for cost savings.

Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2/2/3 rotation (every other weekend off).
• Basic computer skills (data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, email).

Preferred:

• Manufacturing or production experience.
• Experience with equipment/machinery maintenance and changeovers.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 55 lbs., stand, bend, and walk for long periods.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks or forklifts (assessment required).
• Confident with math calculations (percentages, fractions, decimals).
• Familiarity with different measurement systems (lbs. vs kg).

• Pay Rate: $24.75/hour (includes shift differential).
• Work Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (B Shift, 12.5 hours, 2/2/3 rotation).
• PPE/Dress Code: Safety shoes required; casual but appropriate attire.
• Assessment: Forklift assessment required.
• Background Exceptions: Possible with documentation and prior approval.
• Interview Required.
