Job summary
The Packaging Manager oversees all packaging operations for beer and spirits, including bottle, can, and keg lines. They lead multi-shift teams to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality production, manage documentation for traceability, support team development, and coordinate with planning, brewing, and logistics to maintain schedules.
What you would do:
· Lead & act in a manner that is consistent with our Mission, Vision & Values.
· Hire, train, build & lead a high performing, diverse, engaged & inclusive team.
· Participate in Leader of People functions, including but not limited to, growth & development of team members, talent planning, performance reviews, accountability oversight, and delegation of duties as applicable.
· Oversee all packaging lines for beer and spirits across multiple shifts.
· Ensure teams start and complete runs on time with all quality checks performed.
· Maintain clean equipment and work areas while enforcing safe practices.
· Confirm pack numbers and process paperwork for accurate traceability before logistics handoff.
· Collaborate with production planners, brewing teams, and logistics to align schedules.
· Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Required qualifications
· Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
· Basic mechanical troubleshooting ability.
· Attention to detail.
· Technical packaging knowledge.
Physical requirements
· Able to lift at least 25 pounds from floor to overhead repeatedly throughout a shift.
· Able to work in environments of heat, cold, & humidity.
· Able to bend, squat, &/or reach.
· Must be able to work nights & weekends when called upon.
Desired qualifications
· BSc in Operations Management, Engineering, or similar.
· 3+ years packaging management experience in beverage industry.
· Experience with automated filling lines.
· Certification in safety or lean manufacturing.
