We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Packaging Machine Set-Up Technician to join our 1st shift dynamic team.

Job Overview:The Packaging Machine Set-Up Technician is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure efficient and effective production processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with packaging equipment, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:- Set up and adjust packaging machinery according to specifications and production schedules.- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on packaging equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.- Troubleshoot machine issues and identify solutions in a timely manner.- Monitor production lines for quality, efficiency, and safety compliance.- Collaborate with production supervisors and team members to optimize packaging processes and resolve any production challenges.- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies at all times.- Maintain accurate records of machine settings, maintenance activities, and production output.- Assist in training new operators on safe and efficient machine operation.- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging processes and increase productivity.

Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machine operation or a related field is a plus.- Proven experience in setting up and operating packaging machines, preferably in a manufacturing environment.- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.- Knowledge of packaging processes, materials, and equipment.- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.- Strong communication and teamwork skills.- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime, as needed.

Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with machine operation.- Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive motions.
