Packaging Lead Person - ConAgra Brands : Job Details

Shift: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $27.30 an hour + $0.75 shift differential

We are hiring a Packaging Lead to help produce ready-to-eat popcorn products. You will be under the direction of the Production Team Leader.

Work Schedule: This role is 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Hourly Rate: $27.30 per hour; $29.04 after 90 days + $0.75 shift premium.

Basic Functions: You will lead and monitor the operation of the packaging equipment and packaging employees. You will consult with the production leader and quality assurance if any problems of questionable quality are encountered. You will consult with the maintenance staff for any mechanical problems.

Essential Functions: Check and adjust rates of packaging equipment; oversee machine is operating so that no line jams occur; correct any line jams that do occur; Monitors all aspects affecting quality of the packaged product; Direct efforts of all personnel in the packaging area; Inspect packaging area to make sure that housekeeping and sanitation requirements are met; Participate in shift meetings; Help with administrative and documentation responsibilities; Help train new or transferred employees; Participate in compliance audits; Fill in for operators due to absences.

Physical Requirements: Can do light to moderate lifting up to 40 lbs. Must have use of both hands and legs and able to use fingers (manual dexterity for small, detailed work. Can bend, stoop, twist, squat, sit and stand for multiple periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations.

Other Requirements: High school or GED required. Have used an enterprise resource planning platform (prefer SAP) to log production tasks. Must communicate with coworkers, supervisors and outside resources. Must wear appropriate uniform and follow GMP's.
