(Packaging Engineer)Responsible for designing, developing and testing packaging to ensure that they meet our standards and are cost effective. Collaborates extensively with cross functional teams including manufacturing, industrial engineering, global logistics and program management to develop packaging solutions, identify opportunities and resolve issues. Identifies and implements cost-saving measures in the packaging process. Manages packaging supplier relationships including their service performance, package designs, cost and activity. Stays up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements. Maintains accurate records and documentation of the packaging design process. Responsible for responding to and closing any audit, workflow and process execution gaps and opportunities.
