Pacemaker Technician, CardiovascularPosition Highlights:- Position: Pacemaker Technician
- Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL.
- Full Time: 36 hours/week
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am - 5pm
What you will do:You will work closely with the MDs & APPs to provide exceptional patient care through remote monitoring and in clinic visits by analyzing rhythms, device settings, and creating reports.
What you will need:- Education: Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related field required, Bachelor Degree preferred.
- Certification: Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or Cardiovascular Technician (CVT) required. CPR and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association within six months of hire.
- Experience: Minimum three years of experience working with device implantation and Electrophysiology in an Electrophysiology lab/Cardiac Cath lab required.
- Unique or Preferred Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with all types of pacemakers and ICD devices. Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and arrhythmia recognition. Demonstrated knowledge of the correct use of body mechanics.
