Soros Fund Management LLC is seeking a P&L Analyst to join their P&L / Reference Data Team in New York. The role involves collaboration with investment, trade support, technology, and risk teams, focusing on the daily production and reconciliation of real-time and end-of-day P&L.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing of all securities (listed and OTC) using vendor and internal price sources.
  • Enhancing processes and developing strategies for monitoring and validating P&L data.
  • Reviewing pricing and P&L validations, ensuring correct product identifiers are used.
  • Investigating issues in real-time and completing end-of-day market value/P&L reconciliations.
  • Coordinating daily pricing and P&L production with the Administrator.
  • Assisting with month-end price testing of all products, including validating prices against independent sources.
  • Working closely with investment teams, fund accountants, and external audit.
  • Monitoring reconciliations to ensure consistent data flow between systems.
  • Creating new securities across systems for accuracy and consistency.
  • Setting up and maintaining bond, swap, and credit curve generators.
Required Experience
  • 3-8 years of industry experience.
  • Expertise in pricing of OTC derivatives (Equity/FX/Rates) and fixed income products.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Accounting.
  • Broad product and P&L knowledge in fixed income and both listed and OTC instruments.
  • Strong reference data background and understanding of centralized data master concepts.
  • Familiarity with market data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Markit, IDC).
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables and macros); basic coding skills a plus.
  • CPA license is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
  • High attention to detail and personal accountability.
Compensation

The anticipated base salary for this role is between $90,000-125,000, with eligibility for a discretionary year-end bonus.
