WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
TheOutside Sales Traineeidentifies and generates potential sales leads. You will initiate and/or implement corrective action for complex customers and issues as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. The incumbent will plan and develop specific target markets and groups and develop the service“package” in conjunction with the project manager, territory account managers, and data entry clerk. The person filling this position must be adaptable to an ever-changing business environment as departmental need changes and must demonstrate general business knowledge, an ability to develop customer relationships and a high level of confidentiality.
Bachelor's degree required.
1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing role—preferably in Sales or Customer Service—or you're a recent college graduate eager to launch your career in outside sales.
Proven ability to multi-task, stay organized, and deliver accurate, efficient work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with clients and collaborate across teams.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, time management, and active listening.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
High attention to detail with the ability to gather and interpret data effectively.
Comfortable performing calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and basic geometry or algebra as needed.
