Do you have a passion for the manufacturing industry and a track record of exceeding sales targets? If so, we are looking for a Permanent Outside Sales Representative to join our vibrant team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales across our product range, with a primary focus on pipes, valves, and fittings. This is a full-time position where the successful candidate will be expected to manage and grow their sales territory, creating long-term, trusting relationships with our customers.Responsibilities:1. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned territory.2. Conducting market research to understand the dynamics and trends of the manufacturing industry, particularly in the pipe, valve, and fitting sector.3. Cold calling and prospecting potential customers to present our products and services.4. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and offering suitable solutions.5. Meeting and exceeding annual sales targets.6. Reporting on sales results including KPIs, wins, losses, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion to senior management.7. Working closely with the internal team to achieve sales objectives by providing valuable feedback and market intelligence.8. Participating in industry events and conferences to network and promote our products.Qualifications:1. Proven work experience of 2+ years as an Outside Sales Representative or similar role in the manufacturing industry.2. Experience or training in industrial wholesale distribution in the pipe, valve, and fitting industry is preferred.3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.4. Proficiency in managing the sales process from plan to close.5. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.7. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.8. Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.9. Ability to travel as needed.10.
