Position: Outreach Director for Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses

BridgeValley Community & Technical College is seeking a part-time Outreach Director for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. The position begins in September 2025 and is housed within the Division of General Education & Professional Programs. The Outreach Director will report to the program's Executive Director and work closely with the Program Manager. This is a grant-funded, part-time position. The actual offer will depend on education and experience.

The 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) initiative is part of a national effort to support small business growth and job creation. It combines education, business support services, and access to capital to help small businesses overcome growth barriers.

The program has three main components: business education, support services (including technical assistance and personalized advising), and capital access. Its goal is to help participating businesses increase revenues and create jobs in their communities.

• Lead efforts to generate a pipeline of qualified and eligible business applicants for three cohorts annually.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and outreach plan to meet recruitment goals.
• Conduct public presentations, host information sessions, participate in events, and pitch the program directly to small business owners.
• Identify, develop, and maintain partnerships with stakeholders such as chambers of commerce, entrepreneurship programs, CDFIs, industry associations, and local organizations to ensure full enrollment and participation in the program.
