Position: Physical Therapist Setting: Outpatient Location: Tukwila, WA Position Type: Full-time, permanent The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing exceptional patient care through thorough evaluations, individualized treatment planning, and effective administration of therapy for a wide range of outpatient conditions. This role focuses on optimizing patient outcomes while ensuring adherence to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans for outpatient conditions, including occasional direct-access cases.
- Apply a variety of therapeutic interventions, including exercises, modalities, manual therapy, and other treatments in accordance with state practice guidelines.
- Ensure lawful, ethical, and evidence-based delivery of therapy services.
- Accurately document patient care according to regulatory and departmental standards.
- Provide direct supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) as required.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, leadership, and clinical staff to support coordinated care.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic environment.
- Maintain flexibility with scheduling and travel to meet clinic needs, which may include variable shifts or multiple locations.
- Uphold safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self.
- Participate in ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and share relevant knowledge with colleagues as directed.
- Support occasional community outreach or educational events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; Bachelor's degree required, with Master's or Doctorate preferred.
- Active Washington state Physical Therapy license or license application in progress.
