Job Description :

This role involves delegating responsibilities to Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides. The focus is on patient-centered care, employing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in line with physical therapy standards, physician directives, and established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient evaluations to assess skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status (20%).
  • Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans based on assessments and patient tolerance (20%).
  • Submit and update written treatment plans in coordination with physicians, ensuring plans reflect any changes in patient status (20%).
  • Create and coordinate treatment schedules with patients, families, and clinical support staff (20%).
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, treatment options, prognosis, and rationale for interventions (20%).
Submission Requirements
  • Physical Therapy Experience - Required
  • Outpatient Experience - Required
  • BLS (AHA) Certification - Required
  • Acute Care Experience - Highly Preferred
  • All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application.
