Outpatient Cardiology Nurse - Southcoast Health : Job Details

Coordinate and deliver nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions including heart failure, arrhythmias, and hypertension Prepare patients for cardiac diagnostics and procedures (e.g., stress tests, EK - Gs, Holter monitoring) Triage patient phone calls and symptom reports, escalating urgent issues as needed Assist providers with examinations and monitor for adverse reactions to medications or treatments Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and cardiac lifestyle management Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Monitor lab and diagnostic results and communicate findings with the clinical team Manage prior authorizations, medication refills, and post-visit follow-ups Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings Education/ Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
