The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine is actively recruiting a Program Director for the Advanced Education Program in Orthodontics at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate or Clinical Professor, available immediately.Position responsibilities include:
- Program administration
- Didactic and clinical teaching to post-graduate residents and predoctoral students
- Development of scholarly activities
The successful candidate may participate in the faculty practice.The Department of Orthodontics provides training for orthodontic residents and dental students. Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of a CODA accredited advanced education program in orthodontics.
- Board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics
- 2 years of experience teaching post-graduate residents and a record of scholarly activity
Preferred Qualifications
- Eligible for licensure in New York State
- MS or PhD
- Prior leadership in post-graduate programs such as course director or lecturer for predoctoral and postdoctoral students
- Participation in national and international professional and scientific organizations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
