We are eagerly searching for an Orthodontic Care Assistant to join our vibrant team. • Engage with your community by participating in local events such as school screenings and presentations to promote a positive image of our practice.
• Take part in morning huddles (you can even lead one!), recognizing your peers and highlighting outstanding examples of customer focus and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and high-quality care to every patient.
• Assist parents and patients in navigating our processes prior to treatment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide post-operative instructions.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatment.
• Take x-rays and ensure they are saved to patient charts.
• Capture quality orthodontic facial photos, maintaining operational readiness at all times.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures.
• Mix dental materials such as amalgam, cement, and impression materials.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Keep treatment rooms and chairs clean and organized.
• Assist the dental staff during treatment procedures.
• Document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures accurately in patient charts.
• Pour, trim, and polish impression casts.
• Fabricate custom impression trays.
• Maintain the highest standards of integrity by adhering to all company policies and compliance programs.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Orthodontic or Dental Assistant Certification (as per state requirements).
• Preferred at least 1 year of experience in Orthodontic Assisting.
• CPR/BLS Certification is required.
• Willingness to travel within your assigned territory.
• A strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
• Must have a genuine love for working with children.
• Demonstrate compassion and a high level of service for patients, parents, and staff.
• Integrity—always doing the right thing.
• Dependable and reliable with a strong commitment to showing up for scheduled shifts.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to organize work efficiently and manage a variety of tasks while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct at all times.
