Ordnance Handler Associate - Lockheed Martin Corporation : Job Details

Working in a team environment, assist higher level personnel in the receipt, transportation, and storage of large rocket motors from manufacturers. Assist in the transportation of rocket motors, missiles, missile components, and miscellaneous equipment between production buildings using special vehicles such as KD - Ts, F - Ts, translifts, side loaders, forklifts, and large trucks. Prepare missiles for delivery to and from SSBN by installing/removing missile hoisting equipment. Assist in the transportation of missile and special weapons between the SWFLANT production building and SWFLANT waterfront area. Occupational Summary. This classification requires the performance of varied work assignments relative to the complex and critical operations involved in the receipt, handling, movement, shipment, storage, loading and unloading of inert and explosive missile components.
