Order Picker/ Parts Dept - Briggs & Stratton Corporation : Job Details

Performs a variety of warehouse duties related to shipping and receiving including packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, shipping, computer operation, scanning equipment, and material handling. Supports the incoming and outgoing of materials, including preparing and/or maintaining any required documents. Job Responsibilities Selects, prepares, and packs parts for shipment utilizing the appropriate shipping method. Handles all related paperwork or documents, recording or verifying pertinent information for domestic or international shipping. Determines method of shipment, utilizing required shipping software, and knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Processes reports related to shipping including work orders, packing lists, pick lists, bills of lading, customer pick tickets, and related information. Audits shipments prior to loading the truck verifying the load against the customer order.
