Order Picker - Parallel Employment : Job Details

Parallel Employment Group is seeking an experienced order picker for a manufacturing customer located in Lancaster, NY. This is a great opportunity to work with a growing company.

Pay Rate: $17.50 to $18.00 Hour Depending on Experience

Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Verifying that orders are accurately filled and complete by comparing items and quantities with properly completed documentation.
• Ensuring shipments are properly packaged and identified with shipping information for final destination.
• Ensuring goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments with the establishment; and preparing and keeping records of goods received.
• Reporting quality problems to applicable supervisor.
• Responsible to follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written and recommend improvements as necessary.
• Any other tasks/activity assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the Picking/Shipping department.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per the Sealing Devices Quality System.

Requirements:

• 2 years picking and shipping experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• High School diploma
