Order Entry Specialist

The Order Entry Specialist will provide in-depth aftermarket parts sales support with the goal of exceeding company sales orders and revenue targets. This role involves understanding customers' business requirements, serving as the focal point for inquiries regarding replacement parts, and researching necessary information to provide accurate part and price information.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate machinery parts applications and research machinery drawings and bills of materials as necessary.
  • Provide post-sales follow-up to customers if there are delays or concerns.
  • Effectively promote aftermarket machine parts, kits, and upgrades by analyzing customer's existing machinery and potential needs.
  • Increase parts sales volume through direct sales efforts and managing various aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Build relationships and customer confidence through positive contact.
  • Liaise between part sales and engineering to develop solutions for customer needs and specifications.
  • Coordinate with the corporate marketing department to develop effective aftermarket parts and service marketing materials.
  • Coordinate and communicate with international brokers to ensure shipments reach their destination.
  • Drive aftermarket orders to respective owners for assembly and manufacture, ensuring accurate deliveries.
  • Document and build reference material for the aftermarket group regarding processes and knowledge base.
  • Create and manage customer feedback systems, including surveys, to provide insight for proactive sales.
  • Develop and promote relations across departments for seamless workflow.

Work Environment

The position is onsite five days a week in Fairfield, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
