Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle RMS Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining RMS Systems. This role involves working with a team to develop high-performing, well-tested, and thoughtfully architected software applications that meet internal business needs and enhance guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use algorithms, data structures, programming languages, and paradigms to create, test, and operate sustainable client-side or server-side software applications and services.
  • Build and extend software applications across cloud, hybrid cloud, and on-premise environments.
  • Ensure applications are highly available, observable, and durable by following software engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with business and systems analysts to understand end-user requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Work closely with onsite and remote frontend, backend, and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, tested, secure, and resilient.
  • Engage in ongoing quality and performance improvements to ensure reliability and security.
  • Design for release and configuration management.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production system issues.
    • Qualifications & Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
    • 5-9 years of experience in software engineering.
    Technical Skills and Expertise
    • Strong experience with Oracle Retail products, especially RMS, ReSA, RPM, and RIB.
    • Hands-on experience building scalable solutions involving Oracle Retail modules and integrations.
    • Proficiency in Oracle development tools and languages, including SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Reports.
    • Experience installing, configuring, and implementing Oracle Retail Applications, especially RMS.
    • Familiarity with Oracle Retail systems such as POS and Inventory Management.
    • Strong programming skills in Java.
    • Expertise in Kafka.
    • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
    • Strong fundamentals in automated testing, source control, CI/CD.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
