Oracle Prod-Funct Spec L2 Projects and Grants

Job Title: Oracle Prod-Funct Spec L2 Projects and Grants (2 Roles)

Location: Washington DC (Hybrid)

Duration: Long term contract

The Contractor personnel shall perform the following duties and responsibilities for the Oracle ERP Product-Functional Specialist Level Project and Grants Area:

  • The business system analyst is responsible for solving business problems, business architecture, process optimization, business rules, business cases, business requirements, organizational change (communications), and UAT. 12+ years of experience.
  • Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
  • Understand and document current business procedures and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide hands-on business process requirements analysis in support of Oracle Cloud ERP and related applications.
  • In collaboration with internal departments and external resources, plan, design and implement financial systems solutions.
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research.
  • Responsible for the knowledge transfer of business requirements to the application developers.
  • Make cogent arguments recommending a course of action.
  • Scour through enormous amounts of information in the business area they support to find salient points.
  • Identify and address changes in the business process.
  • Understand standard ideas and methods for requirements gathering and translate business wants into IT requirements and functional design specifications.
  • Create trust between Business and IT teams.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing various software solutions.
  • Provide application support for business users.
  • Write conversion, interface, reports and extension functional design specifications.
  • Support data cleanup, data conversion and reconciliation activities.
  • Support month-end and year-end activities, including reconciliation.
  • Review design specifications developed by other analysts and provide feedback on design documents.
  • Write white papers and solution recommendations as needed.
  • Support testing and conduct training.
  • Experience configuring Oracle Project Costing and Grants modules.
  • Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results.
  • Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirements specifications.

    • Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and successful work experience (10 years).
  • CPA Certification is Preferred.
  • 12+ years of Business Analyst experience (Required).
  • 12+ Years of Software Development Lifecycle experience (Required).
  • 12+ years of requirements gathering and documentation experience (Required).
  • 12+ years of MS Visio/Word/Excel/PowerPoint experience (Required).
  • 12+ years of Oracle Financials EBS/Cloud Suite experience.
  • 12+ years of experience working as an Oracle Functional Subject Matter Expert/SME (Required).
  • 8+ years of experience providing production support for Oracle EBS/Cloud Application.
  • 8+ Years of Oracle ERP Cloud Project modules (Required).
  • Experience with the Oracle Cloud Grants module.
  • Expertise within the Oracle Cloud ERP suite, specifically in Oracle Project (Required) and Grants (Required).
  • Experience with Public Sector implementation.
