Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Oracle Fusion SCM Subject Matter Expert (SME) with at least 15 years of experience in enterprise-grade Supply Chain Management systems, and deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM applications. The role involves supporting both Wave 1 and Wave 2 implementations, ensuring smooth integration, configuration, and optimization of various SCM modules such as Procurement, Inventory, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Production Scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:General Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the go-to expert for Oracle Fusion SCM modules including but not limited to Inventory Management, Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Product Scheduling.

  • Support Wave-2 implementation and provide SME support for Wave-1 AMS (Application Management Services).

  • Assist in implementation, configuration, and customization of Oracle Fusion SCM applications.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SCM modules across various project phases.

  • Provide training and mentoring to project teams and internal stakeholders on Oracle SCM best practices.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SCM processes, procedures, and system configurations.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Business Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Work closely with business users to gather, document, and analyze SCM requirements.

  • Impact Analysis: Conduct in-depth impact analysis of design decisions from Wave 1 and their implications on Wave 2 implementations.

  • Bridge Design Gaps: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Demand Planning Project designs with Wave 2 Oracle Fusion implementation.

  • Design & Development Support: Assist in designing, developing, and testing SCM/SCP solutions; review and validate configuration workbooks, functional designs, and requirement documents.

  • Customization & Configuration: Customize and fine-tune Oracle Fusion SCM modules as per business needs.

  • Data Management: Oversee master and transactional data management including cleansing, validation, and migration.

  • Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration of Oracle SCM with external/internal systems.

  • Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize SCM system performance for scalability and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of overall experience in IT, with 10+ years focused on Oracle SCM applications and minimum 3+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM.

  • Proven expertise across multiple Oracle Fusion SCM modules (Inventory, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Scheduling).

  • Strong functional understanding of SCM business processes and workflows.

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion SCM implementation projects.

  • Deep knowledge in data migration, configuration workbooks, and functional design documents.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills in a complex ERP environment.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field (mandatory)

  • Master's Degree (preferred)

  • Oracle Fusion SCM Certifications (preferred but not mandatory)

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or related middleware tools.

  • Experience with global/multi-country Oracle SCM implementations.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
