(Hybrid - Once in every 2 weeks)Note : Tri-State area candidates preferred*Job Description:The Contractor shall provide business system analysis, solving business problems, business architecture, process optimization, business rules, business cases, business requirements, organizational change (communications), and UAT. The role requires 12+ years of experience. The candidate will formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
- The Business System Analyst for Oracle Cloud ERP will understand and document current business procedures and identify areas for improvement. This person will provide hands-on business process requirements analysis in support of Oracle Cloud ERP and related applications.
- The analyst is responsible for knowledge transfer of business requirements to application developers.
- The analyst shall be able to make cogent arguments recommending courses of action.
- The analyst shall identify and address changes in business processes due to new business patterns.
- The analyst shall build trust between Business and IT teams.
- The analyst shall assist in identifying and implementing software solutions.
- The analyst shall provide application support for business users.
- The analyst shall write conversion, interface, reports, and extension functional design specifications.
- The analyst shall support data cleanup, data conversion, and reconciliation activities.
- The analyst shall support month-end and year-end activities, including reconciliation.
- The analyst shall review design specifications and provide feedback.
- The analyst shall write white papers and solution recommendations as needed.
- The analyst shall support testing and conduct training sessions.
- The analyst shall formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on user needs and industry requirements.
- The analyst shall devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering system capacity and limitations.
- The analyst shall analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into system specifications.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field, or
- The equivalent combination of education and successful work experience (10 years)
- CPA Certification is preferred.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of Business Analyst experience.
- 12+ years of Software Development Lifecycle experience.
- 12+ years of requirements gathering and documentation experience.
- 12+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel/Word/Visio/PowerPoint.
- 12+ years of Oracle Financials EBS/Cloud Suite experience.
- 12+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional SME in Acquire to Retire Process Area.
- 8+ years of experience with month-end and year-end closing and reconciliation in Acquire to Retire Process Area.
- Expertise within Oracle Cloud ERP modules: Oracle Fixed Assets, with a good understanding of Oracle Payables and/or Project Modules.
- 8+ years of providing production support for Oracle EBS/Cloud Applications.
- 8+ years of experience implementing Oracle ERP Cloud Acquire to Retire Process Area.
- Experience with Public Sector implementations is highly desirable.
