OR Technician - United Healthcare : Job Details

Under general direction, observes and practices sterile technique, maintains asepsis, anticipates and assists the surgeon as needed. Actively participates in patient care and safety. Utilizes OR supplies conservatively and operates as a team member of the OR staff. Primary Department, Division, or Unit:Operating Room, UHS Wilson Medical Center. Primary Work Shift:Evening. Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours:40 Compensation Range:$25.27 - $37.90 per hour, depending on experience-----Education/ Experience. Minimum Required:High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred:Previous Operating Room experience. Previous Surgical Technologist experience. License/ Certification. Minimum Required:Meets the NYS Surgical Technologist Certification Law; OR Completed a Surgical Technologist program in the Armed Forces; OR Completed a nationally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologist with a nationally accredited Surgical Technologist credential.
