Optimization Operator - Devon Energy Corporation : Job Details

The Optimization Operator, working under limited supervision, is responsible for gathering and analyzing real-time data through Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) monitoring. The role supports collaboration with engineers, operators, and foremen for wells and lease activities, troubleshooting and optimizing producing and underperforming wells. The operator assists in conducting minor subsurface well maintenance, performing dynamometer, fluid shots, and Formation Bottomhole Pressure (FBHP) surveys, and maintaining regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance. The role also assists in identifying opportunities for operations cost reductions, reducing production variance, and improving job efficiency and safety. The operator recognizes, analyzes, and resolves routine issues in production operations, takes corrective action in emergency and non-emergency situations, and contributes to operational efficiency and safety.
