Operator - Unloader Nights - Mars : Job Details

Job Description:* SHIFT: 223 Night Shift; 7pm - 7:30amWhat will be your key responsibilities?** Unloading and Material Handling: Performing various tasks related to unloading, transporting, and storing raw materials, including bulk and bagged ingredients.** Equipment Operation: Operating equipment like conveyors, forklifts, or pallet jacks for unloading and material movement.** Safety & Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols (e.g., Lockout/Tagout, confined space entry procedures), wearing required personal protective equipment, and reporting safety hazards.** Quality Assurance: Performing quality control checks, including checking for damaged or missing items, ensuring proper labeling, and documenting findings.** Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records, including batch numbers and ingredient tracking logs, and possibly using warehouse management systems.** Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Assessing equipment reliability, performing routine maintenance tasks (blown screens, filter changes), and troubleshooting malfunctions.** Team Collaboration: Communicating effectively with team members, providing production data for reports, and supporting production schedules and goals.** Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and 5S standards.What can you expect from Mars?* Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.** Join a purpose driven company, where we're striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.** Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.** An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.
