Operator. Shift: 3rd Shift (Mon-Fri 10 pm-6 am)Hourly Rate: $18/ HR - Position Overview:The Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating production and cleaning machinery. This role involves operating the hydraulic press, lab equipment, and industrial sweepers while supporting quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate must follow safety protocols, maintain cleanliness, and ensure data accuracy in quality systems. Key Responsibilities:Operate Press:Operate hydraulic ram to press tobacco into containers. Raise ram and remove filled containers. Read and interpret scales to ensure correct product weight. Insert paper liners, fold flaps, and feed boxes into banding machine. Collect moisture samples as prompted by the Leaf. Point system. Accurately input data into the Leaf. Point system. Send moisture samples to the Quality department using pneumatic transport with correct sample tickets.
