JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional to join our Tax Operations team. The ideal candidate will support Financial Advisors and Client Service Associates by handling tax-related inquiries, ensuring accurate year-end tax reporting, and maintaining compliance with IRS regulations. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities - Assist Financial Advisors via MSSN/PSN calls and Case Management tickets directed to Tax Operations
- Support Year-End Processing, mass corrections, IRS files, and reclasses
- Process daily reconciliation and review ad hoc break reports
- Assist in creating and reviewing audit procedure documentation
- Apply knowledge of IRS Chapter 3 & 4 NRA and FATCA regulations
- Manage withholding and reporting requirements
- Understand various types of client account classifications, tax document requirements, and associated reporting obligations
- Utilize Excel and other relevant computer programs to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
Required Qualifications - Strong tax knowledge related to year-end tax reporting for 1099s and 1042-S forms
- Proficiency in Excel and relevant computer applications
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze issues, escalate when necessary, and exercise sound judgment
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict operational deadlines
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality work

- Understanding of client service and process controls, with the ability to learn internal systems quickly
Education Bachelor’s Degree
Years of Experience Prior experience in the Financial Industry is highly preferred
