Packaging Line Operation Supervisor – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Location: Spring Valley, NY

Shift: On-site | Full-time | 2nd shift

Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire

Pay Range: $85-110K (based on experience)

About the Role:

A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Spring Valley, NY is seeking a Packaging Line Operation Supervisor to oversee daily operations of packaging lines for oral solid dosage products. This role is critical to ensuring production efficiency, compliance with GMP standards, and team leadership across shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise packaging line operations including setup, troubleshooting, and changeovers.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety regulations.
• Lead and train packaging line operators and technicians.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing/resources as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and batch records.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging or manufacturing.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of cGMP and FDA regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends as needed.
