This position is responsible for organizing crew members and operations in order to complete the daily schedule while maintaining the highest levels of food and employee safety. Capable of being an effective communicator between department peers and superiors along with interpersonal communication with direct reports.Duties and Responsibilities:Operate and troubleshoot processing equipmentSupervise direct reports to ensure product quality, schedule attainment, and production efficiencyCoach, mentor, and develop staff including overseeing new employee onboarding, providing career development planning, and opportunitiesEmpower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals, then delegates and expect accountability and regular feedbackEmployee training on food safety and sanitation program while being compliant with SQF, USDA, and 3rd party audit requirementsTrack and maintain all employee company trainingsProvide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action, with the assistance of Human Resources, when necessaryMaintain transparent communication.
