  • Supervises warehouse resources and activities, and align with company's objectives and targets.
  • Performs cycle counts of small parts inventory once a week.
  • Performs hash counts of inventory once a month.
  • Supervises warehouse staff, including work schedules, training, and performance management.
  • Ensures all health and safety requirements are met.
  • Ensures the security of the building and inventory.
  • Research, recommend, and implement cost reduction and improvement measures in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities (continuous improvement).
  • Utilize the company designated freight solution to ship all product not delivered on a Holman truck.
  • Plans and organizes the daily workflow of the warehouse.
  • Assigns work and manages inventory; including the receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of goods.
  • Create and audit daily logs such as forklift maintenance, warehouse supply levels, fleet vehicles, and equipment status (PDA's, pallet jacks, etc).
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and/or Training:
  • College degree preferred
  • Supply chain and or logistics experience
Relevant Work Experience:
  • Intermediate experience in overseeing operations for distribution, supply chain, or warehousing
  • Working with a Union team
  • Route mapping
Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge:
  • Act upon performance information provided, coaching and guiding staff members to improve knowledge and skill where required
  • Able to optimize warehouse to reach maximum efficiency
  • Able to plan driver routes, create work schedules, and manage warehouse inventory
Communicating & Influencing Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to explain company and warehouse processes and procedures
