The Operations Supervisor shall carry out all assigned production functions within their area. They will provide coaching and training to their team regarding quality, environmental, and safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Responsibilities and qualifications:
- Meet production requirements, i.e., making the product to customer specifications, and meeting scheduled shipping dates.
- Ensure safe work habits.
- Provide leadership and direction to employees.
- Work with the management team on customer complaints, quality issues, Non-conformance issues, process control, continuous improvement, Kaizen activities, and all policies and requirements of the governing version of current ISO standards.
- Embrace lean manufacturing techniques and work closely to implement such changes on a timely basis.
- 5 years of manufacturing and/or supervisory experience
- Machining (including CNC) experience and knowledge.
- Basic Microsoft Office utilization skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Assembly principles.
- Working knowledge of root cause analysis tools
- Hydraulic experience is a plus
