What You Will Experience In This Position:
  • Collaborate with executive, PMO, functional, & facility leadership to understand and prioritize business goals.
  • Assist in developing project proposals that align with schedule, funding, and staffing requirements & constraints.
  • Lead large-scale strategic initiatives, directing infrastructure expansion, product transfers, and capital equipment projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work with functional leaders to develop detailed work plans and staffing requirements. Arrange recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • Build & manage project timelines by identifying sequence of activities, durations, resource availability, and schedule constraints.
  • Monitor & control project budgets, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Manage & mitigate project risk. Raise known issues to Leadership for corrective action when appropriate.
  • Communicate project status & updates to project team, stakeholders, and leadership through effective, recurring communication.
  • Organize & lead effective cross function team meetings & ensure project team accountability.
  • Provide work direction to project teams. Mentor and train others in methodologies, standards, and business tools.
  • Collaborate with the PMO & other departments to continuously improve project management processes, tools, and templates.
  • You Have:
    • Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.).
    • 5+ years project management experience is required.
    • Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM) or Professional Project Manager (PMP) preferred.
    • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing & manufacturing engineering is preferred.
    • Skill in analytical thinking and problem solving.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
