The Landfill Operations Manager is responsible for managing landfill processes and collaborating with the Division Manager, Market Area Manager, and other managers to execute division strategy for producing marketable commodities. They also implement tactical initiatives to drive functional excellence and manage budget information.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or a High School Diploma/GED plus 5 years of relevant experience, and be legally eligible to work in the US. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team, possess 5 years of heavy equipment operation experience, and have at least 3 years of leadership experience. Experience or interest in environmental or sustainability fields is preferred.
Excellent relationship management, listening, communication, and problem-solving skills are required, along with familiarity with OSHA, DEP, and DEC regulations.
