Job description:

SUMMARY: The Branch Manager will lead all operations for this Virginia region. This individual will manage all daily business, ensure financial targets are met, and delivers excellent customer service. An ideal candidate is based in the listed market and has industry knowledge of building materials such as, but not limited to; drywall, metal studs, EIFS, acoustical ceilings/walls, and commercial doors/frames and hardware.

COMPANY: Trevdan is a family-owned and operated building materials distributor. With over 40 years I business, is seeking a branch manager to spearhead expansion into the Virginia market.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Owns all location operations – including purchasing, receiving, organizing, and dispatching materials
  • Manages a team of sales, dispatch, drivers, helpers and forklift operators
  • Displays project knowledge expertise, knowing and understanding the needs of all customers
  • Executes customer quotations and sales orders in a timely manner
  • Collaborates with team and leads effort in establishing a strategy and approach that will position Trevdan to win
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and team members
  • Tracks and reports on results as applicable and recommends strategies for increased success
  • Acts of a brand steward, upholding brand standards and consistent communication in all projects
  • Independently balances multiple concurrent assignments with shifting priorities
  • Analyzes, evaluates, and reacts to market trends with evolved strategies and tactics
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience

Experience: 6-8 years related experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Industry knowledge and experience
  • Holds a CDL or willing to get is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrable project management, collaboration, and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to lead and motivate project teams with a positive, winning approach
  • Exercises strategic thinking skills
  • Demonstrable detail-orientation skills and dedicated to providing accurate, first-class outputs
  • Results driven, proactive, catalyst in nature
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Show discretion and exhibit good judgment
  • Exhibit strong desire to serve the needs of a fast-paced organization.
