Operations Manager - Clocktower Staffing : Job Details

A transportation company based in Martha's Vineyard (island off the coast of Massachusetts) is looking to hire an Operations Manager on a permanent basis.

*This role will require full-time relocation to live on Martha's Vineyard. Company is offering relocation compensation and can provide housing.

Responsibilities:

The person in this role will oversee that day-to-day business operations for the organization which includes: staffing, onboarding, planning, budgeting, employee disciplinary issues, training, credentialing, scheduling, working with union issues, and more.

This is a hands-on leadership role. This person will manage staff but will also may need to jump in to drive a bus route in an emergency situation.

Qualifications

• Able to relocate to Martha's Vineyard for full-time role
• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years prior experience working in transportation/transit industry
• Prior leadership / supervisory experience
• Experience working in unionized workforce
• Clean driving record (and able to secure a Commercial Driver's License)
