Insero Talent Solutions is recruiting an Operations Manager for a well-respected, mid-sized law firm in Rochester, NY.
Responsibilities include oversight of human resources, information technology, compliance, and facilities management. The successful candidate will have experience coordinating the day-to-day activities of a full practice law firm, superb attention to detail, business acumen, excellent listening and written/oral communication skills, a track record of developing others, a teamwork approach, and the ability to oversee multiple functions and meet strict deadlines.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Human Resources – recruiting, onboarding, benefits management, orchestrating annual reviews, enforcing firm policies, and coordinating employee performance reviews and handling day-to-day employee issues; experience facilitating these activities, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to excellence in law firm administration and workforce management are essential.Operations Support & Vendor Relations – handle daily operations for a law firm with multiple offices, support management, partnership, practice group leaders, and attorneys; oversee and coordinate training for business center and records management, as well as support staff; handle vendor relations as needed.Compliance – monitor compliance and internal controls, including processes for managing operational risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing and enforcing firm policies for organizational efficiency.Facilities – manage staff and files across the firm's offices.Ideal candidates must have at least five years of related work experience. A BA/BS degree is required.
