Set on a 10-acre campus, it is an incomparable property for both its city access and sense of complete retreat.DescriptionMission of the Role:ResponsibilitiesThe Operations Manager supports Flamingo Resort & Spa Wellness Mission, Values and Goals. The Operations Manager is responsible for providing a positive work environment for all employees, the highest quality guest service and product. The Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Executive Director in overseeing operational aspects of Wellness at the Resort and will be assigned specific responsibilities as needed. Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure all resort wellness staff support Flamingo Resort & Spa Wellness Mission, Values and Goals.
  • Ensure all resort wellness policies and procedures are fully implemented in all departments, including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures, Safety and Emergency and as outlined in the company's Policies and Procedures Manual, People and Culture Procedures and Employee Handbook.
  • Serves as the lead customer service contact for members at the front desk, including:
answering questions, welcoming, and other member communications
  • Acts as a liaison between the front desk, Group X, Personal Trainer, and seasonal staff and all other departments, communicating relevant information to the staff as needed
  • Works with ED to establishes, monitors and analyzes seasonal programs and budget
  • Develops and implements front desk and support development of overall Club policies and procedures
  • Support the creation and implements seasonal programmatic policies and procedures.
  • Conducts departmental meetings quarterly for Front Desk, Group X and P.T. departments
  • In collaboration with the EC, develop and conducts customer service training for all employees
  • Enters programs/services into POS software
  • Oversees billing Youth Swim, support Summer Kids Club and others as needed.
  • Works with ED on creating cross department programming
  • Support the ED in developing programming for group business capture for Resort, including all Wellness
  • Covers shifts as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
QualificationsEssential Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Two
  • three years of customer service experience.
  • Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
  • Computer knowledge in Windows environment as well as prior experience with various PMS and POS systems.
  • Experience in Health and Wellness industry.
  • CPR, First Aid certified, AED, ACE or ACSM license.
  • Proven ability to provide high quality customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task, works independently and with a team, and performs detail-oriented functions.
  • Ability to problem-solve, and make key decisions.
  • Team leader/player
  • Availability to work some evenings, weekends and holidays as job dictates.
  • Professional and enthusiastic attitude
  • Ability to problem-solve, and make key decisions Desirable Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate in a second language.
  • College or university program certificate in hospitality/fitness or related training.
Compensation RangeThe compensation for this position is $65,000.00/Yr. - $68,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
