Operations Manager (Front Office SME) Prestigious Hedge Fund - $300-400k TC - Mondrian Alpha : Job Details

An industry recognised / prestigious, multi-billion dollar AUM, expanding US Hedge Fund (NYC) are looking to hire an operations manager.

My client are an award-winning hedge fund who have consistently been one of the leading performers in the US hedge fund space over the past decade. The firm look after its staff incredibly well, in terms of working environment, progression and pay they pride themselves on having rock-bottom attrition.

The role reports directly into the HOO, providing direct support to him, overseeing junior team members, taking on a critical mandate of managing / driving major projects + being the go-to-person for the trading team on any daily/live matters.

The operations team cover a broad remit and they operate in a high-volume environment, dedicated to continuous process improvement (team members typically develop very strong coding skills). As SME for the front office team, key to the role is the hire s ability to face-off to the portfolio management team, working with them collaboratively, but also to push back on them from day one.

We are looking for a hedge fund operations specialist, ideally with 5-10yrs relevant experience, from a multi-strategy background, looking to step up into a more senior role. Any supervisory experience is useful, but not a pre-requisite. Any coding experience is preferred.

The role will pay a $300-400k year-one total compensation package (including a minimum guarantee), with year-on-year growth. The firm also provide an industry leading benefits package.
