Job Overview

Byroe is seeking a detail-oriented and solution-driven Part-Time Operations & Logistics Manager to oversee all aspects of our order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping logistics across retail, wholesale, and international distribution. In this role, you will work closely with our 3PL partners, ensure smooth operations, and take ownership of identifying and executing cost-saving strategies across the supply chain.

This is a part-time, flexible position ideal for someone with strong operational experience in the beauty or CPG industry who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and manage purchase orders from retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
• Coordinate with 3PL for outgoing shipments, incoming stock, and warehouse logistics.
• Ensure timely, accurate deliveries and proactively resolve any shipment issues.

2. Inventory Oversight

• Track and reconcile inventory across all locations and systems.
• Flag inventory risks and manage restocking schedules to avoid stockouts or overages.
• Work closely with the team to support production planning and product availability.

3. Documentation & Invoice Handling

• Oversee invoice generation, tracking, and internal reconciliation.
• Manage all international shipping documents (e.g., commercial invoices, COO, MSDS).
• Maintain organized records for audits, compliance, and reporting.

4. Cost Optimization & Workflow Improvement

• Identify inefficiencies or cost drivers in fulfillment, warehousing, and shipping processes.
• Negotiate with vendors and propose solutions to lower operational expenses.
• Implement streamlined workflows and recommend tools to support scalability.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management (beauty/CPG a plus)

Strong background coordinating with 3PLs and managing Shopify or EDI systems

Knowledge of international shipping, customs documentation, and compliance

Proven ability to manage inventory, invoicing, and vendor communications

Analytical mindset with a track record of driving cost savings and process improvements

Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-first attitude

Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities independently

Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and logistics platforms
