Operations Leader – 1st Shift - GE Vernova : Job Details

Shift supervisor for a team of production employees responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost for their shift and for adherence to standards. Supervise and lead front-line manufacturing employees. Typically managing hourly employee populations. Expected to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent. Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical issues. Communicates with direct team and supervisor. Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and research. Ability to work in other operations to cover as needed. Required Qualifications:Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing, 2 of which are/were in a supervisory role OR Military Training).
