The Team:

The Secfi Wealth team is instrumental to Secfi s core mission. We provide financial planning and investment management designed for startup professionals and those with equity compensation.

The Role:

You'll work closely with a tight knit team of advisors and the head of portfolio management. You'll be expected to proactively handle operations tasks and assist clients and prospects. You'll also influence the future of Secfi Wealth and assist in building processes that set up Secfi Wealth for scalability. Additionally, you'll work with the head of portfolio management to understand our investment approach and philosophy, and apply that approach through assisting in trading and rebalancing portfolios. Growth in the role and within the company is only limited by your effectiveness and our success as a team. Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure a delightful client experience from onboarding through servicing
  • Drive the operational process for each Wealth client
  • Partner with other internal teams like Biz Dev, Marketing, Product and Compliance and drive impactful initiatives forward
  • Help design and implement processes to support a growing company and client base.
  • Assist in portfolio management including monitoring and rebalancing
  • Assist in creation and delivery of performance reports and commentary
  • Help select vendors and partners to enhance the client experience and increase operating efficiency

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years relevant work experience in client service and/or operations, preferably in financial services/investment management, fintech, or at a startup.
  • You highly value customer satisfaction, have a process-oriented mindset, are interested in finance and tech, and have an overall positive attitude.
  • Excellent time and process-management skills, as well as utmost attention to detail...you re meticulous, not afraid of getting in the weeds, and you re comfortable with getting things done under tight deadlines.
  • You re comfortable with ambiguity and operating in a fluid environment. You can recognize when something is going outside of the normal process, and manage stakeholders to address any challenge.
  • You are proactive when faced with the unknown - you are unafraid to tap into resources and research solutions independently.
  • Strong customer-facing skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and manage multiple stakeholders.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Advanced skills in productivity tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Hubspot, etc.
  • Experience with custodial platforms, specifically Altruist and Schwab Advisor Services.
  • RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) experience.
  • Familiarity with financial instruments like ETFs, mutual funds, stocks, and bonds.
