Responsibilities Position Overview Join our 10-week summer internship program as a Manufacturing Operations Intern. This role offers hands-on experience in a Plant Production environment. You'll work alongside experienced professionals to support the plant through continuous improvement activities, monitor staffing resources, and develop reporting procedures and systems to initiate and foster employee engagement. Accountabilities Maintain production through continuous improvement activities, monitoring staffing and resources, developing reporting procedures and systems, and initiating and fostering a spirit? Ensure a safe work environment through prompt resolution of safety-related issues, monitoring of work practices to ensure safe work behaviors and doing safety related facility tours and audits. Participates in plant safety program as a leader or group participant.?? Identifies shift production performance gaps in efficiency, suggests improvements and implements corrective actions to fix deficiencies.? Ensure product quality by adherence to product/packaging specifications, QFSE protocols and OSHA compliance standards.? Compliance to Safety & Environmental Policies?? Compliance to Quality and food Safety Policies?? Best practices and standards development?? Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related principle. ? Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to work within teams and maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires management and completion of multiple tasks.? Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to apply logical/critical thought processes when developing solutions. Ability to display a positive business presence with management and external personnel. A strong interest in the CPG industry, a plus.
