The TeamThe Technical Services team will lead project management for new facility start-up, develop SOPs and O&M manuals, and coordinate with other departments to troubleshoot technical issues like water quality and environmental compliance.
The PositionUnder general supervision, the Operations Field Manager provides field and office operations support, requiring water/wastewater industry knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to develop solutions. The role is collaborative, self-starting, and capable of producing plans, reports, and documents.
Ideal CandidateThe candidate has a proven track record managing projects in a complex utility environment, with strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, and stakeholder relationship-building abilities. They will serve as a trusted technical advisor and department ambassador, engaging directly with staff and customers.
Personal CompetenciesThis advanced classification involves independent work on energy management and optimization projects, troubleshooting, and support, with decision-making authority and minimal supervision. Reports to the Director of Systems Operations and may lead staff.
Additional RequirementsOvertime, weekend, evening, and holiday work may be required, along with disaster response duties.
