Operations Engineer (2nd Shift) - Woodward : Job Details

Supports technical solutions. Recognizes problems that are beyond capabilities and is learning from the experts in the area. Supports new capital equipment purchases and implementation. Supports cell layouts and process improvement initiatives. General understanding of Six Sigma and lean tools to improve processes. General understanding of Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) concepts and supports new product introduction. Represents the company with our customers. Supports updates to management on operations status. Learns the steps involved to incorporate process improvements. Supports the manufacturing floor for any process related questions. Creates and maintains process documentation and updates work order documentation. Supports implementation of basic engineering changes. Adheres to applicable Quality System requirements. Supports Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, and Control Plans. Learns from more senior Operations Engineers. May guide/direct Manufacturing Specialists.
