Job Summary Arapahoe Community College seeks a highly organized and service-oriented Operations Coordinatorto support the daily functions of our Workforce & Community Programs Department. This full-time position usually works from 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, and is based at our Littleton Campus. It plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of courses, managing front office operations, and fostering a welcoming environment for students, instructors, and community partners. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered service. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate course logistics, including registration, enrollment tracking, and classroom assignments.
- Manage front office operations to ensure consistent, high-quality customer service.
- Supervise and support part-time and student employees, including hiring and training.
- Oversee procurement and distribution of course materials, supplies, and event logistics.
- Serve as a liaison to instructors, students, and internal/external partners to support program success.
Qualifications
- Three years experience OR an equivalent of education and experience.
- Ability to interact and develop relationships with individuals of varying social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds.
- Strong collaboration, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Experience with database entry.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel; ability to navigate digital tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
