Job Overview: Under the direction of the Senior Director of Operations, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the parking garage and storage operations at Galaxy Towers, as well as supporting and coordinating capital improvement and renovation projects. This role serves as a key liaison between departments, vendors, contractors, and local officials, ensuring that both routine operations and long-term projects are executed effectively and in alignment with Galaxy Towers' standards. Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Your Responsibilities: Garage & Storage Operations
- Oversees all parking garage-related functions including vehicle assignments, resident compliance, equipment troubleshooting, and record accuracy using BuildingLink, FLASH, and Egnyte.
- Manages waiting lists and audits for reserved parking and storage rooms; coordinates with Accounting to ensure proper billing and charge application.
- Investigates and resolves resident concerns related to parking garage operations, and communicates relevant notices to enforce compliance.
- Collaborates with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Security to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly garage environment; provides coverage support as needed.
Project and Facilities Coordination
- Assists in planning, executing, and monitoring major capital projects (e.g., garage renovation, HVAC upgrades, pool repairs, hallway redecorating, and infrastructure improvements).
- Coordinates with contractors, engineers, inspectors, and municipal officials to ensure receipt of permits, compliance, and quality control.
- Prepares specifications, participates in bid processes, and qualifies vendors and contractors; monitors timelines and project milestones.
- Works closely with the Senior Director of Operations to identify repair needs and recommend operational improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
- Performs related duties as assigned to support project delivery and departmental goals.
- Ensures that all contract work is aligned with scope, budget, and compliance requirements.
- Available for weekend inspections and other events, as needed.

- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience can be considered.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in residential or multi-use property operations, project coordination, garage/facility oversight, or a related field.
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, BuildingLink, FLASH, and document management systems such as Egnyte.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to read and interpret technical documents such as safety procedures, maintenance manuals, and contracts; proficient in writing reports and professional correspondence, and presenting information clearly in both written and verbal formats to a variety of stakeholders, including vendors, residents, and agencies.
- Solid analytical and mathematical capabilities, including interpreting budgets and pricing proposals, calculating percentages and proportions, and applying basic algebra and geometry to construction and project planning.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and reasoning ability, with a track record of resolving operational issues, adapting to changing priorities, and implementing effective solutions independently.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Frequently required to walk, sit, stand, climb stairs, and use hands; occasional stooping, kneeling, and moderate lifting; must have adequate vision for reading, inspecting property, and computer use.
- Work involves both office and field environments, including exposure to outdoor weather, maintenance areas, construction sites, mechanical equipment, and varying noise levels.
