Fee Operations Analyst
Join the Finance Department of this leading investment management firm as a dedicated Fee Operations Analyst in their Woodbridge, NJ office. This candidate will assist in managing the fee lifecycle for client accounts. This role involves collaborating with a specialized team to oversee all stages of the fee lifecycle, from initial implementation to ongoing maintenance and account closure. Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and understand the firm's complex and customized fee structures, systems, and applications.
- Research, analyze, and implement fee structures for new client accounts.
- Execute fee-related changes for all existing accounts.
- Process account closure requests, including the calculation and finalization of fees.
- Implement non-standard fees as approved by senior management.
- Maintain accurate client account documentation using the firm's electronic storage system.
- Collaborate with Client Advisory on fee analyses, complex fee issues, and overall client requirements.
- Test periodic software upgrades to ensure system functionality remains intact.
- Assist with projects aimed at improving data accuracy, process efficiency, and user experience.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work overtime based on workload and project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum of 1+ years of corporate experience.
- Basic understanding of Trusts, investments, and Asset Classes preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel is required.
- Experience with FIS Global Plus, Appway, and PL/SQL is helpful.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to evolving policies efficiently.
